DIY: Easter Mobile

Colourful painted eggs are a traditional part of the Easter celebration as well as the Easter Bunny and the searching of easter eggs! Why don’t you just deviate from the norm this year and show that you can do more than painting a egg? With a self-made Easter mobile you’ll show your crafting skills and you’ll bring your home in the right Easter mood. On the other hand, you can also make someone else happy and give it away as a present.

You need:

  • your favorite photos
  • a branch
  • cord string
  • hole-puncher
  • paperboard
  • scissors
  • glue
  • washi tape
  • some deco elements like birds out of wood and little Easter eggs
  • hot-melt gun
  1. After printing your favorite photos your creativity is in demand. Use colored paperboards, washi tape or some stickers to decorate your photos.
  2. Punch your photos on the top and bottom. Pull the cord string through the holes and tie it down. Tie the photos together and attach them to the branch.
  3. In the end, you can add some extra Easter deco elements to your Mobile. For example, you can attach some Easter bunnies and flowers out of wood with a hot-melt gun to the branch.

Get inspired and let your creativity flow! Happy Easter season everybody!

At the Wonder Photo Shop in Düsseldorf at the headquarter of Fujifilm Europe the employees had the chance to join a workshop for an Easter mobile DIY. It was shown how to print the favourite pictures and create a nice and unique mobile with them.
